CESO has been shortlisted and invited to submit a proposal for the NDICI Cooperation Facility in South Africa.
 
We are currently seeking to employ a Key Expert (Team Leader) who possesses the following qualifications and professional experience:
 
The Team Leader shall be responsible for the overall implementation of the project and ensure effective coordination between all project components. The individual will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage any non-key experts recruited to deliver the project's technical tasks. The Team Leader will also guarantee the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall project management and implementation, including that projects outputs and reports are appropriate, consistent, timely, and of good quality.
 
Qualifications and skills
 
Education

• At least Masters Degree Academic level or equivalent 10 years professional experience in Public Administration, international relations, development studies (planning or finance) and programme management. 

General professional experience

• Preferably 10 years of experience in management or Public Administration, Development planning, Development finance (required minimum of 5 years)
• Knowledge of South African Government and policies would be an advantage

Specific professional experience

• Proven experience working with one or more of the following institutions: think tanks, academia, NGOs, businesses, government, media, and other relevant organisations;
• Experience in dealing with administrative management or human resources;
• Expertise in institutional capacity-building for Government Departments;
• Experience in management of EU-funded projects;
• Work experience of middle-income countries, preferably South Africa, would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of EU sectorial policies and external cooperation would be an advantage
