Personnel Management Information System (PMIS) in respect of Support to the Civil Service Project
This project supported the Government of East Timor (GOTL) in the establishment of an Information System to manage 12,000 employees. The project involved four main areas of work:
- Verification of IT and hardware conditions in the GOTL for the implementation of the Personnel Management Information System (PMIS);
- Assessment of the current Human Resource Management regulations, operations and procedures, and assistance to the GOTL in the development of a mechanism of interministerial workflow for managing the PMIS;
- Design, specification, installation, testing and verifying the PMIS for civil servants in the GOTL, including the migration of the existing personnel data and the interface with the payroll system and database;
Development and provision of training for PMIS-users to enable a sustainable use of the system.
