The ICT Week 2017 had important discussions between specialists and authorities of EU and Brazil, regarding the challenges related to the fourth industrial revolution and the introduction of innovative technologies such as Advanced Manufacturing, Internet of Things, 5G, Artificial Intelligence, among others.

The consequences of adopting these new technologies - such as climate change, scarcity of resources, jobs and wealth generation - were also part of the agenda at the event; which highlighted the 10-year strategic partnership between UE and Brazil in the area of information technology.

ICT Week2017 was organized by the European Union and the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications (MCTIC), and was supported by the Sector Dialogues.

CESO participated in the organization of the ICT WEEK 2017; this initiative falls under the scope of Technical Assistance to the Support Program for EU-Brazil Sectoral Dialogues.
