The 14th Edition of Portugal Exportador was held on 27th November at the Congress Center of Lisbon. CESO was one of the sponsors of the event that is promoted and organized by the AIP Foundation and AICEP Portugal Global.
Portugal Exportador is aimed at small and medium-sized companies that are starting to take their first steps or want to consolidate their internationalization process or, instead, just find and diversify new export markets.
This year the organizers were committed to fostering the creation of effective “business opportunities between companies and international buyers” reinforcing “networking opportunities” and making "innovation a differentiating factor in internationalization”.
Thus, in addition to Workshops that dealt with various sectoral themes, namely in the field of agri-food, metalworking and e-coomerce, Thematic Cafes able the participants to establish informal conversations on business opportunities abroad. SMEs were also able to contact several internationalization support services entities, Startups which presented innovative products to export, Chambers of Commerce and Industry and, among others, international web buyers.
As a sponsor of the 14 Edition of Portugal Exportador, CESO participated in two Workshops: the first on The Importance of Agribusiness for Angola's Sustainable Development and the second on the Steps to Export. On the other hand, we promoted a Guinea Bissau Themed Coffee - Challenges and Opportunities.
