Last week, was held the online module in Introduction to Project Management , which set the start of the Training cycle in Project Management and Financial Management of Organizations, promoted by the Technical Assistance to the Coordination of the PROCULTURA Action - Promotion of Employment in Income Generating Activities in the Cultural Sector in PALOP and East Timor.
The sessions were attended by 35 people responsible for managing PROCULTURA´s grants in the Action's partner countries: Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor-Leste.
This training cycle has a total of 38 hours, which will take place between January and February this year, distributed in 4 different modules:
1st) Introduction to Project Management;
2nd) Grants Monitoring and Evaluation;
3rd) Financial and Accounting Organization and Management;
4th) Financial Report of Grant Contracts.
In line with the Training and Mentoring Plan prepared by the Technical Assistance, in 2024, 100 hours of training and mentoring will be provided to these entities, in areas such as Project Cycle Management, Funding Acquisition, Business Plans, Cultural Marketing, Legal Issues and Tax System, Industrial Property, Copyright and Related Rights.
CESO provides Technical Assistance to support the Coordination of the PROCULTURA Action - Promotion of Employment in Income Generating Activities in the Cultural Sector in the PALOP and East Timor. Funded by the European Union, the Action is co-funded and managed by Camões, I.P. also counting and co-funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
