The Technical Assistance EU-Angola Dialogue Facility launched an Academic Award for postgraduate students. Papers about European public policy and cooperation between Angola and the European Union can be submitted. The deadline for applications is July 15th.

The Academic Award 2022 is a activity of the Technical Assistance EU-Angola Dialogue Facility initiative implemented CESO’s and GIZ consortium. It aims to recognize the best work by postgraduate students, enrolled in Angolan higher education institutions, about European public policies and cooperation between Angola and the European Union.

The MESCTI (Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation), the Angolan’s Universities Council of Rectors and the Association of Angolan Private Higher Education Institutions support the Academic Award, which create opportunities to enhance partnerships between higher education institutions in Angola and the European Union.

Academic Award Applications

The applications for the European Union -Angola 2022 Academic Dialogue Award should  be done by students who have a research plan approved by their educational institution and a supervisor with a link to an Angolan higher education institution. Eligible topics must be related with European studies, the functioning and policies of the European Union external action and European cooperation with third countries, and the relationship between European institutions and Angola. Papers must be individual, original, written in Portuguese and carried out within the framework of postgraduate studies.

The deadline is July 15th, 2022 and only one application per student will be considered.
